Jordan at Newcastle Baths

I’m not an overly shy person, but in all my years as a photographer I’ve only ever approached one stranger and ask them if they were interested in doing a photoshoot.

The whole middle aged man asking a young girl if she’d like to model for him just, well, you know.

But the one person I asked was Jordan. That was almost 6 years ago now, and we’ve recently just done our 11th shoot together. Thats one thing I really like about photography – you meet so many nice people and build so many great connections.

These days our shoots tend to be six monthly catch ups, where we spend half the time shooting, the other half catching up on what’s been happening, sharing stories of our experiences. No set plan to work towards, just a casual chat and shoot.

Jordan has one of the most kindest hearts I’ve ever come across. She’s beautiful on the inside and out.

Black and white shots were shot with a Nikon FM3A on Ilford Delta 100, and the colour were shot with a Canon Demi EE17 half frame camera on Kodak Ektar 100.
